Hi Sheila, I was on the third row, just to the right side of the aisle. I too love the lyrics although it seems not quite on the same level as yourself, although i have looked up RF. Pat's voice is amazing and i am suprised, although a little glad, that they have not been more popular; at least we get fairly intimate gigs and access. I was attracted by "Linda" and then their first best of CD in around '91 and have seen them around 7 times over the years. Being of similar age, many of our life events have run parallel, which in a way is comforting. I found it a little odd that Greg did not thank Pat for his contribution on the night, brothers eh. Are you going to mostly jazz? Looking forward to next time when I will endevour to meet you best regards Steve
Hi Sheila, was wanting to go to the weekend myself but me and my buddy are struggling with bad paying customers. Don't want to make an insulting offer knowing what you've probably paid. we're travelling up from Stockport for the one gigas it stands but.........how does £150.00 sound?
Hi Sheila, my situation is similar to yours with other events in december pulling rank. friends are not up for 2 days of H&C, which may be heaven for us but equally I would not appreciate 2 days of take that or who-ever. Being 300 mile away does not help. Still, we have a new album to look forward to and can hope for a repeat double show next year. Enjoy your other gigs, Cheers Steve
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you; I haven't been able to log on for ages as work has been a bit bonkers. I hope that you are well, I'm still looking at the Midlands gathering - probably after the end of the cricket season.
What have you been up to?
Looking forward to catching up soon.
Hi, judging from your photos you were standing right in front of me at the show. There was a rowdy element there! Seriously, thought it was a great performance and I had to stop myself going to London to see them again on Saturday.
Lovely to hear back from you. Thanks for taking the time to send a note. This really is a great site filled with some lovely people. Strength to Strength was the perfect opening number and took me right back. Voilently was the song of the night for me. I really like it when they do the medley with "all the way" (have you heard Frank Sinatra sing that by the way, just awesome!). Like you, I like Del Amitri and "Nothing Ever Happens" is one of my favourite numbers. Looking forward to hearing from you soon,
