Get Xmasday dug out...It's December!

Posted on December 6, 2012 at 11:42 0 Comments

Eilidh wanted Xmasday in the car straight after halloween...Much too early, I said. But now it is December.....absolutely!!

Of course the Christmas decoration is oot too, hanging at the window this year beside Snow White, Mickey, Minney and Tinkerbell...Yep all the stars..thats how we roll in this hoose!

I always have a wee smile to myself when the Xmas card comes out too from Pat and Greg, after following them for so many years it really was a cool thing to get, even if it…

2012 was it a very good year??

Struggling to know what to make of 2012 as a Hue and Cry fan.

The Hotwire weekend in Glasgow was superb, with the Q&A being particularly enjoyable but the gig in London was a little disappointing for me, something just didn't feel right that night, can't put my finger on it but It wasn't what I expected. I'm sure it was nothing to do with the band though.

There was the pride, should I be proud??!! I'm just a fan after all?... when the guys performed on Jools Holland Radio 2…

Remote 25th Anniversary

Posted on September 9, 2012 at 22:27 8 Comments

So managed to get on this internet stuff again 1 year after moving to the countryside. Yep thats how much BT and SKY suck!!

Anyway I think I'm right in saying that Remote celebrates it's 25th Anniversary in 2013 and as it's the most successfull (so far!) and probably best loved I thought we should be looking to honour it next year.

Heres some of the rubbish swirling about ma heid about this!! what do you all think?

1. A reworking of the album with the…

Gig ideas....

Posted on October 28, 2008 at 20:37 9 Comments

As we look forward to the new single and tour and having digested the first proper tour in a LONG time. I thought i'd have a wee go at putting some ideas together for the next tour.

Here's what I came up with (shoot me down at will!)

1. Try to keep this band together, as in my opinion it is as good if not better than any previous one. I know it's difficult as they all have solo stuff on but it's a really good band!!!

2. Some dramatic entrance music would be cool as the… Continue

Hi Chris and Lesley (and kiddies!!)

Good to hear back. Yes, it's difficult not to to sound negative on the subject but, as I've said from very early days, these guys are running a business (hate to make it sound like a bad thing!) and they need to sell, sell, sell and that's okay with me. We still get content here that very few band s give to fans. I know your a deep-down-in-your-soul fan, too - you understand this stuff. As long as P&G keep up *their* end of the bargain, we'll be dandy but in the meantime, keep on keeping on. Quality never dies. Very best to you guys.
