I love movies and I thought that posting my list of favorites from the past couple of years would give you a sense of my tastes and my interests. They are listed in order with the ones that I admired and enjoyed the most at the top of the list.
There will be blood
4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days
Into the wild
No country for old men
The diving bell and the butterfly
No end in sight

AS A RESIDENT OF BAVARIAN COUNTRYSIDE;A RECENT VISITOR CLAIMED THEY COULD NOT SLEEP FOR THE SOUND OF CHURCH BELLS; EVERY QUARTER OF THE HOUR; BREAKING THE OTHERWISE RELATIVE SILENCE OF OUR SURROUNDINGS:
THE AFORE MENTIONED VISITOR HAD AN EXCELLENT POINT ; OF COURSE:
WHEN ONE IS PASSIVELY DEAFENED BY PEDESTRIAN AMBIENCE AND MUSIC OF NO MORE THAN LULLABY QUALITY; TO BE STIRRED BY SOMETHING OF BEAUTY; BIRDS;TREES BLOWING CRISPLY IN A GENTLE BREEZE AND INDEED SILENCE ITSELF;THIS WILL… Continue

Sitting here in the USA waiting patiently for the CD to arrive from Amazon UK
I don't know if there are any American show plans in the future, but I would love it.
I've listened to you guys since Labour of Love and am glad you are back recording together. The voice and the arrangements are tremendous.

I'm one of your oldest (in terms of longevity and loyalty) American fans....been listening ever since I heard the B-side to "Strength to Strength" in 1987...."Dangerous Wreck" I think it was...what a voice. I'm so happy to hear the new material after all these years....and especially happy it seems a return to form. "Last Stop" sounds brilliant. I can't wait for the CD to come out. Keep up the good work....I'll keep spreading the news "across the pond".

Hello guys, great to see that you're finally making it all the way up the A9 to Inversneck...Been a fan of your music since the beginning waaaay back to the eighties...Really looking forward to losing my voice at the Ironworks, once I've sung every song word (not pitch) perfect...
Any chance you can slip in Long Term Lovers of Pain - what a quality tune...Just been listening to the live CD from the Remote boxed set - getting into the live vibe!

With the gods smiling on us, the boys took to the stage on a balmy evening instead of the threatened summer showers at about 9.15pm to play a piano/vocal showcase after racing.
I would imagine it's difficult to perform in front of a largely intoxicated and not necessarily 100% interested crowd, but the boys offered up a four song set of which the majority of tracks were recognisable to even the most alcohol-induced of audience members?!?!
Pat and Greg kicked off with… Continue
