Though I have been registered for a while, hadnt really interacted but I have been missing out I can see! Many thanks to the person who posted the discography, I must admit it made me realise how much I didnt have and how much I have bought this afternoon! I wondered if it was allowed whether anyone was interested in swopping mp3s/cd of b sides and remixes. I have a large collection but have many gaps and thought I would ask before I spend the rest on musicstack.com! I am particularly… Continue

I spoke to Pat at the meet and greet at the ABC on Saturday concerning an old song called "More Than The Market Requires" I think they played it live in 1990 but to my knowledge it has never been released.Pat told me it was on the site somewhere.I have been looking but as of yet havent found it.
Can anyone point me in the right direction or does anyone have a bootleg copy??

Just wanted to say thanks to Pat and Greg for a fantastic weekend!
Both gigs were amazing and it was good to hear a mix of new and old across both sets. Really enjoyed Saturday - the champagne, the soundcheck, the meet and greet, the buffet and then the gig ... it was so well organised and I know everyone appreciated how much effort had gone into making everything run so smoothly.
It truly was a great weekend, well worth battling snow and motorways from Newcastle for.… Continue

Ok. In one word FANTASTIC!!!!.
Fridays night was a great intimate gig with 350 people. Pat and Greg were on top form belting out the classics, xmasday hits and a couple from piano and voice (Mary Mary and White Collar). Haven't heard those songs in a long time. Superb to hear Just Say You Love Me again.
Saturday was awesome. Still shaking from meeting Pat. P.S - My daughter loves her signed brouchure. Day was quite long though. Feet, back and voice are still… Continue

On Thursday we left home in The Netherlands to make a dream come true. For 20 years we have been big fans of Hue and Cry but we had never seen them perform on stage. For us, the history city xmas weekend was the opportunity to make the big trip and go and do what we have dreamed of for so long.
And it was worth the long journey. We have seen the performance tonight and all shed a tear during the first few songs. We are so happy! And tomorrow we will be able to meet them in person.

Small moment of deep Scottish connection here, that has to be noted...
Greg and I once did a version of a song called The Jute Mill Song (They Fairly Mak' Ye Work), which we always thought that Micheal Marra (the great composer of Mother Glasgow) had written - he was the guy we heard performing it first.
But it turns out it was written by Mary Brooksbank, a Scottish communist-feminist - and… Continue

Just received my xmas day box which has managed to get to wing its way to Western Australia. Its a really special thing indeed. Its a pity that not many more musicians do things like this for their fans.
I was playing the music the other day on our company christmas do and the track "Someday at Christmas" went down a storm, it was funny watching 20 yr old aussies singing Hue and cry's version
