It's brilliant! In a world of tired old reruns when bands turn up to recreate their best albums live in support of the inevitable reissue with added padding, you'd expect the Kanes to avoid that at all costs and to do something different but this is much more. I love the idea of updating the songs lyrically but it's so much more than that. It's audacious and ambitious. Very definitely a 2014 album.

Prior to the Remote Weekend, my first and previous H&C concert was at the Hamilton Town House in 2012.
'Remote' is one of my favourite albums, so I had to get tickets for the weekend. I don't think I had ever noticed the ABC and as a result, thought it was at the O2 Academy (I went to see Thunder there a few years ago).
Setlist (not sure about the order of the encore):
The full 'Bitter Suite' CD album ('Looking For Linda' and…Continue
I first saw Hue and Cry in the 80's as a support band for Simply Red at Birmingham Entertainment Centre. I have lived in Australia for the past 26 years and that was the only time I ever saw them live. I have been backed to the UK but never at a time when they have been on tour. Can anyone tell me if they will perform between 15/12/14 and 15/01/15
