What a year that's been for us, travelling far and wide!
From cosy wee halls to mud-caked mega-festivals...From shaking our tail-feathers on Celebrity Big Brother & Gabby Logan, to playing with Jools Holland, the Average White Band & the Titanic's chamber orchestra... From intimately sharing our back catalogue with fans, to blasting out Hot Wire's funk groove into bouncing, sweaty halls... 2012 has been a busy, exhausting but exhilarating year for us brothers Kane.…

Struggling to know what to make of 2012 as a Hue and Cry fan.
The Hotwire weekend in Glasgow was superb, with the Q&A being particularly enjoyable but the gig in London was a little disappointing for me, something just didn't feel right that night, can't put my finger on it but It wasn't what I expected. I'm sure it was nothing to do with the band though.
There was the pride, should I be proud??!! I'm just a fan after all?... when the guys performed on Jools Holland Radio 2…Continue
It made me sad to realise that my last visit to see Hue and Cry must have been in the late 80s (when of course I was around 2 years old) but despite their often outspoken views I was a big fan then and always loved Pat’s singing voice so when I saw that they were playing in Edinburgh, I decided to give it a shot. A relatively cheap “PlatinumPass” convinced me to fork out a bit more than expected and the itinerary for the day read as follows:
4.00: VIP Reception, collection of…Continue

Quite often I get a random Hue and Cry lyric popping into my head. In particular it's whenever I go to pay for something online or go to a cash machine.....
"I've got the card, delivers the goods".
It happens quite lot. Anyone else get H&C lyrics in unexpected places?

I've been lurking too long around here without writing a few words by way of telling Pat and Greg, and the Hue and Cry Music Club, how I found my way here and how much I appreciate the music.
I'm an American who spent a year studying in Aberdeen in 1990-1. My proper uni studies fell to pieces there (I picked them up later, you'll be relieved to hear, so am now properly overeducated and underemployed like most folks my age), but my studies in Scottish Appreciation…
