Had to share this with you all... was checking out the Wikipedia entry on Hue And Cry, and came to this page on the AllMusic.com site.
They put us in a category which I have never heard of and which tickles me greatly...

Been trawling through the Internet to try and come up with a definitive Hue & Cry discography for you all to try and complete your collections. I have about 90% of all that is listed in the attached document and I am sure there are items that I have missed.
Feel free to mention errors or omissions from this list. I have converted the document into a Portable Document Format [PDF]. I used this because it lets you embed pictures in the document. To view… Continue

Have you ever wanted to put personal pictures on your My Page? Here's the right way!
Your My Page has both a "Photos" and a "Text Box" function. We know it seems a bit odd, but DON'T use the Photos function to upload personal photos to your page!
We're using "Photos"
for Hue And Cry-related images only
- you can post those up. We won't approve
personal photos uploaded through that function.
But please,… Continue

I have tour-itis now..don't want it to stop. The way it has to be I suppose..Just want to say I met a lot of really nice people on this tour and trust me, doing what I do there is very few tours you can say that about. So everyone, ( if indeed anyone ever reads this) what did you think of that eh? I am not allowed to swear but *&^k me..Is that a good band or is that a good band. An absolute pleasure is all I can say and sorry for singing along.

I have been playing around with the zazzle merchandise and came across the customisation function. I came up with the below design for a hoodie. I thought of ordering but then thought perhaps Pat wouldn't approve!
What would be your design? And what could I get away with?… Continue

Dear all, unfortunately one of my cameras failed on me on Saturday night. So I'm kinda lacking in footage. Could anybody who filmed the gig on phones, cameras, whatever please let me know and I'll arrange to get the footage from you so i can use it in a short film I'm doing about the gig. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT THE QUALITY'S LIKE ... I CAN DEAL WITH IT IN POST PRODUCTION. So please spread the word and help me out guys.

I know that a lot of u guys want to hear this song. But making the "Showtime" album was a painful experience for me. The producer, Richard Niles deemed me a sub par pianist and hired someone to play piano on the record. So I don't want to revisit that time ever again. Pat and I wrote the songs on Showtime, but I had very little to do with the performances or arrangements on that record. Altho, I am going to learn it over the next few days and will probably play it with Pat @ some point on this… Continue

Paul's scan of the 1989 tour programme was fascinating because it detailed the band members, and it got me thinking about all the various players I've seen with the boys. There are some major gaps below, so perhaps people could help fill in not a discography or a gigography but a "bandography" of the past 20 years:
1987/88 Seduced and Abandoned Tours:
Drums: Tony McCracken, Bass: James Finegan, Guitar: Nigel Clark, BVs: Davie Preston. On the second tour, a brass section was… Continue

Having being a fan of hue and cry since I was a wee boy- with heavily gelled hair and growing up with them (I'm now in my 30's!) Their new material is as good if not better than anything they have ever done.
Now the thing is my girlfriend watches strictly come dancing and I must endure it also, and I see these bands come on on a sunday night and was thinking wouldn't it be great to see hue and cry back on mainstream tv showing the public what they can do especially with fitting songs like… Continue

As we look forward to the new single and tour and having digested the first proper tour in a LONG time. I thought i'd have a wee go at putting some ideas together for the next tour.
Here's what I came up with (shoot me down at will!)
1. Try to keep this band together, as in my opinion it is as good if not better than any previous one. I know it's difficult as they all have solo stuff on but it's a really good band!!!
2. Some dramatic entrance music would be cool as the… Continue
