Well, well, well, Pat and Greg.  What can I say?  That was such a fabulous weekend and I think you are sounding better than ever.   Yes, I'm biased, but that's allowed isn't it?  23 years since my first Hue and Cry gig, I think I'm entitled to be.

Thanks to the Music Club, I have made so many new friends over the last couple of years.  And I must admit, I was probably looking forward more to catching up with them than the gigs.  OK, that sounds harsh (sorry) but it was like a catch up with friends with the added bonus of a couple of gigs.  These are guys I generally only see at these weekends but mostly we are in touch all through the year as well.

Highlight of the weekend is impossible to choose.  I adored the reggae treatment given to Linda.  I loved hearing Life as Text is its entirity (normally for me it's a short snippet as it's my text tone!).  And more so, you guys so looked liked you were enjoying the nights as much as us mere fans.

It's already looking like Hotel MacAulay is getting booked up for your visit to Aberdeen in October.  More mayhem, but this time in my home city.  I will be wishing the summer away so that October arrives quicker.

So again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your fantastic music and for the ever increasing circle of friends this club has created. xx

Aw. It's all true. It's the combination of great music, great performance, catching up with Music Club-ers and inducting a few newbies for good measure.
